Do I keep the rights to my book?
Yes. You keep your copyright, intellectual property and royalties. Hamilton Authors is paid for its services and never takes permanent ownership of your work.
Is proofreading included?
Yes, in every package. If you would like an additional proofread by an independent proofreader, we can arrange one, quoted per book.
Will my book be published without my say?
No. Nothing is submitted for publication until you have given written approval of the final version.
Will the 30-Day Author Programme publish my book in 30 days?
No. The aim is a finished manuscript in 30 days. Publishing involves proofreading, formatting and your approval, and can follow through Publish My Book or Author Launch.
My manuscript is not finished. Can I still use Publish My Book?
Publish My Book needs a complete manuscript. If you are still writing, the Book Blueprint or the 30-Day Author Programme is the better place to start.
What is an ISBN and do I need to buy one?
Every book uses the free Amazon KDP ISBN by default. Authors in the UK and Ireland can buy their own ISBN for £35 if they prefer.
Is the audiobook available on Audible?
No. Our digital narration audiobooks are distributed on Spotify, Kobo and INaudio, not Audible.
Which languages can you translate into?
We confirm each language before quoting, based on Amazon KDP support and the availability of a native speaker reviewer. You must also own the translation rights to your book.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. The interest free Hamilton Authors 3 payment plan splits the price into three equal card payments, 30 days apart. Klarna is also available at checkout in the UK, Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
I live outside the UK. Can you help?
Yes. All our services are delivered online, and calls are held at weekends at times shown in your own time zone.
What are Founding Author Rates?
